The DynaRent Mobile app is used to work remotely on scheduled service and maintenance tasks. The tasks, as shown in the DynaRent Mobile app, are prepared and scheduled in D365 FO.

For work order lines, to appear as tasks in the DynaRent Mobile app, this must be done first in D365 FO:

  1. On the Work orders page:
    1. Create a work order.
    2. Add desired information to the work order lines, for example:
      • Order note (Additional notes - Line notes)
      • Work order line tasks (Work order line > Work order task checklist)
      • Attachments.
    3. Confirm the work order lines.
  2. On the Service plan board:
    1. Assign the work order line to a resource (field engineer).
    2. Release the assigned work order line.

As a result, the work order line appears as a task in the DynaRent Mobile app of the field engineer to which the work order line is assigned.
